Change How Jade Sends Email

Jade allows you to send email with your default Windows email application (e.g. Outlook, Outlook Express etc).  This option is selected by default and normally, you would not change this.

 

If, for some reason, you do not want to use your default email application, you can choose to send email directly from within Jade. 

 

To switch on this option, select Email Options from the Administration menu. Drop the menu and select SMTP. This opens a window where you can enter your outgoing server details. You can find the outgoing SMTP server settings for your main email account in your email software.
