The Enquiry Email Message

To edit the default email response to an enquiry:

From the Administration menu select Enquiries Options.
Open the Email Message tab.

 

The message for email with an attachment is laid out as a covering message. The text-only email message includes a section for generating a list of properties.  Both messages have these elements in common:

 

The Message Greeting

 

Dear $JadeCustomerDearName$,

Output: "Dear John," or "Dear Mr Smith," (depending on the 'Dearname' selected in Contacts.)

 

Dear $JadeCustomerTitle$ $JadeCustomerLastName$,

Output: "Dear Mr Smith,"

 

Hi $JadeCustomerFirstName$,

Output: "Hi John,"

 

The Message Body

 

Edit the text as necessary:

 

"In response to your enquiry, I believe the following might interest you.

 

If you would like to arrange an appointment to view or to receive further information, do not hesitate to get in touch.

 

Best Regards,"

 

The Signature

 

$JadeAgentFirstName$ $JadeAgentLastName$

 

Output: "John Smith"

 

$JadeAgentFirstName$

Output: "John"

 

$JadeAgentName$

Output: "John Smith" (the display name in Contacts.)

Tips:

Test your email response by creating an enquiry that uses your own email address.
Each email can be edited after it is generated.  This is is useful if you want to tailor the message to a particular customer before sending it.
