Database Corruption

If you get an error message that contains the word 'corrupt' or 'corruption', this means that some event on your computer system has damaged your database. 

 

Events that can damage files on your computer include (but not limited to):

Power surge/outage.
Virus infection
Operating System crash.

 

What you can do to fix damage to your database:

 

- First, read the error message.

 

- If the error message says that the ConnectedUsers table is corrupt (or its header is corrupt), follow the instructions for fixing the connected users table.

 

- If the error message mentions corruption in some other table/header, follow the instructions to Check and Repair the database.
